| Received 2025.04.29 | Abstract. The article examines the process of vulgarization of medical knowledge in the media space and its consequences, one of which is overdiagnosis. This medical error is considered in the article from the point of view of its social nature. A conclusion is made about the transformation of constructs and social roles of the doctor and the patient within the medical institution. |
